The T-72 M1 main battle tank is a highly protected mobile tank with great firepower against enemy fortified positions or armoured targets.
The main weapon station is a 125 mm 2A46 cannon with a maximum firing range of up to 5 km. The secondary weapon station is a 7.62 mm PKT linked machine gun.
The tank is fitted with smoke grenade launchers and can also be fitted with blocks of reactive armour (ERA) for protection against anti-tank missiles.
