HAYRICK demolition charge is a shaped charge device designed for destruction of steel or reinforced concrete objects and structures such as buildings or bridge pillars. HAYRICK is a linear shaped charge unit filled with 5.3 kg of high explosive, primed with a powerful HE booster unit to ensure outstanding performance. With no stand-off distance and with charges placed on opposite sides of the object, the charge can cut 200 mm of laminated steel plate under compression, 250 mm under tension, or 25 mm steel through 150 mm of reinforced concrete. The charge can be initiated by either electric or non-electric detonator.
