In the context of the war in Ukraine, assistance to the Ukrainian armed forces and the need to accelerate modernization processes and strengthen the capabilities of the armed forces of the Czech Republic in a further worsened international security situation, the capacity of the Czech defense industry is a current and important topic in the future.
One of its most important components, which has been developing activities in a number of areas for a long time, is the company STV GROUP. In its premises in Polička, it continues the tradition of the First Military Ammunition Factory established in 1920. Today, it produces a varied range of military ammunition, plastic and industrial explosives.
