The biggest military event of its kind not only in the Czech Republic but also in Europe is approaching. The BAHNA 2025 Ground Forces Day will take place on Saturday, 21 June, at the Bahna Tank Depot near Strasice, and STV GROUP is once again a general partner.
You can look forward to an action-packed all-day programme: fighter flyovers, airborne assaults, tank attacks, artillery salvos, historic battles and state-of-the-art military technology in motion. The programme includes, among other things, a parade of the Czech Army and foreign armies, paratroopers parachuting, demonstrations by the Czech Police, rescue operations and battle scenes from the present and the past.
STV GROUP will present the premiere of a new generation of wheeled platforms - MRAP 4x4 STV GOLEM. This heavily armoured vehicle offers top ballistic and mine protection up to STANAG 4b level, modular armament, and high clearance, even in urban conditions. GOLEM is being built under Czech license production with the ambition of becoming a backbone platform for the Czech Army and its foreign partners.
The FLYER 72 Heavy Duty light assault vehicle is also returning to the scene - a legendary machine developed for the US SOCOM special forces (Green Berets, SEALS, MARSOC). With a top speed of over 150 km/h, the ability to be dropped from C-130 aircraft or CH-47 helicopters, modular armament including a 30mm cannon, and proven deployment in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Israel, it is a unique vehicle not only for ambush missions behind enemy lines.

Ground troops day BAHNA 2025
BAHNA 2025 is the largest public parade of military equipment and military-historical demonstrations in the Czech Republic. This 35th edition will take place on Saturday 21 June 2025 in the area of the former military training ground Bahna near Strašice and Dobřív in the Rokycany district.

The whole day is packed with demonstrations of modern and historical military equipment, combat scenarios, security force interventions, paratroopers' jumps, parades of armies and other attractions for the public of all ages.
Transport and parking
- Dobřív car parking: Possibility of walking along a marked route or using the shuttle bus service until 18:00 (stop Dobřív, chalets).
- Strašice car parking: capacity approx. 4,000 cars, a distance of less than 4 km from the site. Again, consider walking or using the shuttle bus until 18:00 (Strašice stop, Obú).
- Shuttle service: Available only on the day of the event, operated by AKV bus a.s. on select bus lines. (Plzeňsko Division).
Additional information
- The event is also attended by foreign armies and military history clubs, which present equipment and combat scenarios from various periods.
- The average attendance reaches up to 50,000 people, the event is very popular, and it is recommended to arrive in advance.
- The primary objective is to showcase the maturity of military-historical units, recall their traditions and past combat operations, and demonstrate contemporary military technology in action.
BAHNA 2025 offers a unique experience for lovers of military history, technology and families with children. Visitors can look forward to a rich programme, practical demonstrations of military and police activities, equipment displays and the opportunity to get to know the Czech army up close.
