STV GROUP is changing its management
1 September 2026 – Tomáš Rubáček is appointed the new Chief Executive Officer, and Josef Mašín is appointed Commercial Director
STV GROUP, a leading Czech manufacturer in the defence industry, has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors, as well as a new Commercial Director, effective 1 September 2026. Bc. Tomáš Rubáček, MBA, is taking over as head of the company, whilst Ing. Josef Mašín, MBA, is assuming the role of Commercial Director.
Tomáš Rubáček’s main task at STV GROUP will be to strengthen corporate governance, develop business activities and comprehensively transform the company’s management processes. This move responds to the company’s dynamic growth and the rapid development of the entire industry. The aim is to prepare STV GROUP for the next stage of its planned growth and expansion.
Alongside Tomáš Rubáček, a new commercial director, Josef Mašín, will also join the company’s management team on 1 September 2026. In this role, he will develop business activities and strengthen STV GROUP’s position in both domestic and international markets.
Tomáš Rubáček brings a wealth of experience managing both domestic and multinational companies. Throughout his career to date, he has focused on process transformations, streamlining production and developing business strategies for international markets.
The STV GROUP Board of Directors remains a three-member body. Alongside the new Chairman, Tomáš Rubáček, the board comprises Kristýna Ondroušková and Jiří Vaněk.

Tomáš Rubáček takes over from Pavel Kudrhalt, who had been leading STV GROUP on a temporary basis. Pavel Kudrhalt is returning to the subsidiary STV Technology, a leading manufacturer of small-arms ammunition, which he built from the ground up several years ago. In addition, he will take charge of other development projects in related fields, such as producing primers for infantry ammunition and pyrotechnic components for artillery fuses. These projects aim to further increase STV Technology’s self-sufficiency and reduce its dependence on external suppliers.
