Powerful stories of service to the country on the big screen: a look back at the 2025 Army Film Festival
20/10/2025 - STV GROUP was the proud general partner of the first edition of the festival combining film, history, and respect for those who protect our safety.
The first edition of the Army Film Festival, held under the auspices of the President of the Czech Republic and the Minister of Defense of the Czech Republic, showed how powerfully films can speak about courage, service, and the values on which our freedom is based. The opening ceremony took place on September 20 in Kinsky Garden in Prague, and the main program ran from September 22 to 24 at the Atlas Cinema and the Military History Institute in Prague.
Audiences saw award-winning titles and unique archival screenings and discussed with filmmakers about decision-making in extreme situations and respect for those who protect us. The films screened included Kilo Two Bravo (Kayaks), Karbala, Hyena Road, and Armadillo.
