Busworld 2025: Poličské strojírny, part of the STV Group, presented a new generation of door systems
14/10/2025 - After six years, Poličské strojírny returned to the Busworld international bus trade fair in Brussels. They presented their own new generation of complete door systems for city and intercity buses.
Poličské strojírny, a sister company of STV GROUP, presented itself at Busworld 2025 among global bus and accessory manufacturers at the beginning of October. At the exhibition, they presented the world premiere of "outswing" doors for regular service buses and a completely new "inswing" solution for city buses – in both pneumatic and electric versions. The key innovation is the proprietary DCU S5 control unit with CAN-BUS communication and an electric controller with a proven service life of over 2 million cycles.
Interest in Poličské strojírení's presentation at Busworld was also confirmed by a visit from the Czech Ambassador to Brussels, Jakub Skalník, with his wife, and the director of the CzechTrade office, Pavel Zelenka. Many bus manufacturers stopped by the stand to inquire about technical and price offers.
"Our door systems are designed for maximum reliability and safety. I believe that with these new products, we will succeed even in the face of tough international competition," says Jiří Vaněk, CEO of Poličské strojíren, describing the new products.
