OT-64 SKOT

Armored truck OT-64 SKOT was a joint project of the Polish-czechoslovakia armored transporter, which belonged at the time of its inception to world leaders. The first work on the development began in 1959, in the same year was built the first prototype, which was the name of SKOT (Central wheeled armored truck). The first test series was produced in 1961 and the armies of both countries co-operating the machine was placed in 1964. Transporter should drive all eight rounds, Central inflators, two steerable front axle and other modern engines. The engine is eight cylinders, air-cooled, diesel Tatra T-928-14 on volume of 11 760 cm3.
