AV-15 (recovery vehicle)

Recovery vehicle AV-15 ( AV stands for „Automobil Vyprošťovací“ ) is bulit on Tatra T-815 8x8 chassis. Superstructure consists of crane with maximal load of 15tons ( 4 tons with additional boom ), welding and cutting device, winch and hauling device. With its bulldozer blade in front, the large variety of in-builted devices and accessories is the AV-15 a universal vehicle for repair, recovery, crane and engineering works including hauling of damaged vehicles or trailers ( up to 65 tons onroad ). Crew of recovery vehicle AV-15 consits of two men – commander ( crane manipulator, radio operator ) and driver ( welder, slinger ).
